Trading With Us

New Earth èiRe is a private membership association. Traders and vendors join the Gathering by agreement with the association, on the standard the association holds for the safety of everyone on the land. These terms are entered freely and in good faith between New Earth / A Space Connection Production and each trader or vendor — the Sovereign living man or woman trading with us.

By trading with us, you accept these terms in full. They sit alongside our event Terms & Conditions and our Community Involvement terms, which also apply to you.

 Applying to Trade

Anyone wishing to run a stall, market stand, food concession, or any other trade at the Gathering must apply and receive our agreement in writing beforehand.

We hold a vetting process for all traders. Applying does not guarantee a place. We may accept or decline any application at our discretion.

Pitch allocation, fees, and any trade-specific arrangements are confirmed separately in writing.

Food Safety & accreditation

Any trader or vendor preparing, handling, or serving food or drink must be able to show, on request, current accreditation in food safety and hygiene from a body recognised both by the Gathering and by the insurer covering it, together with proof of their own cover for the goods they serve.

We may request food safety certification and proof of cover at any time before or during the Gathering. A vendor who cannot show it may be refused a pitch or removed from site. We do not take risk on food safety, if we believe that the trader is unable to meet satisfactory standards & food safety conditions, including our own in-house safety standards & criteria, with our own food safety guidelines, we will ask for further proof of food safety standards. Or refuse trade.

This high food safety standard exists for one reason: to protect everyone on the land who eats, drinks, or trades at the Gathering. It is the association’s own food safety standard for who prepares food on its land, held in the interest of all members present.

Your Responsibility as a Sovereign Trader

You are responsible for the safety, quality, and fitness of everything you provide.

Please only provide organic food. No GMOs. No unsafe food ingredients.

As a food cook & trader, You are responsible for holding your own cover, accreditation, and any requirements for food preparation safety, that your trade calls for.

As a New Earth Trader, You are responsible for your own equipment, stock, and belongings.

New Earth cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to trader property.

As a Sovereign Trader, You are responsible for your own waste. All waste must be removed or placed in the bins provided, and your pitch left as you found it. We ask every trader to follow a Leave No Trace approach.

Ethos & Conduct

New Earth holds a strictly no-alcohol ethos. No alcohol may be sold, served, consumed, or provided by any trader.

Everything you sell or offer must sit in keeping with the spirit and values of the Gathering. We may decline any product or service that does not.

Traders are part of the gathering and carry themselves as representatives of it — respectful and helpful towards members, crew, and one another at all times.

We may refuse, suspend, or remove any trader whose goods, conduct, or certification place others at risk or sit out of keeping with the values of the Gathering, without return of any fees paid.

Responsibility Between Us

We take all reasonable care for the safety of everyone present. Even so, trading at the Gathering is at your own risk.

Other than where caused by our own negligence, New Earth is not responsible for loss, damage, injury, or harm arising from your trade at the Gathering.

We hold ourselves fully accountable for any death or serious injury caused by our own negligence, and for any dishonesty on our part. That responsibility is ours, and it is not something we ask you to release us from.

Your Information

The information you give us is held with care, as set out in our Privacy Policy at newearth.ie.
