About New Earth

New Earth is a grassroots, independent arts movement — hosting Sovereign Gatherings and performing at festivals across Ireland, the UK, and beyond. We are a private membership association: a sovereign community of living men and women who come together by free agreement, of our own will.

New Earth èiRe Sovereign Gathering is an uncensored platform for outspoken artists. We book acts who stand in alignment with our vision and values. If you are an independent artist who has been censored or cancelled — if you stood apart during the lockdown years — come find the others.

How we began

New Earth was born in the level-5 lockdown of 2020, when dancing was made unlawful and travel was held to five kilometres. Our answer was to gather anyway: to meet at Uisneach, the heart-centre of èiRe, and dance together in defiance of that confinement. From that first act, five Sovereign Gatherings have followed since 2021.

The wider project grows from Space Connection, founded in 2010, which has created conscious events and sovereign villages around the world. Since 2020 we have been planting seeds across èiRe and into England — community gardens, land projects, and a growing network of sister projects and farmers building sovereign villages together.

What we stand for

We hold no political stance — we are neither left nor right. We are sovereign. We believe each living man and woman owns themselves, and that free people may come together, trade, and build by their own agreement. This is a conscious space, held in that spirit.

We draw on the spirit of Brehon law — èiRe’s own native tradition, custom grown from the community rather than imposed from above, holding everyone equally and resolving matters through agreement and restitution between people. It is sovereign law in the truest sense: the law of a free people, made among themselves.

We are building rather than opposing: growing food, sharing skills, trading and bartering, crafting, and coming together in community. A parallel, sovereign society, made by the people who choose to live in it. We do not promote digital ID or cashless systems. We put children at the centre of our vision, and the safety of our community before all else.

Our ethos on the land

New Earth holds a no-alcohol and no-hard-drugs ethos at our gatherings, and a no-masks space. We find our healing in Mother Nature — through shamanic ceremony, sound and healing modalities, yoga, and meditation. We ask everyone who joins us to respect this ethos and the sovereignty of the space.
