New Earth welcomes Sistren Sounds @sistrensounds …back on the scene with a passion for spreading the message of freedom, love and unity through positive music. Originally in 2010 two female reggae selectors and collectors Jennifer Amulet and Hanna Sistren playing a mix of vinyl and digital Reggae, Roots, Dub and Steppas, inspired by the likes of Dubheart, Countryman, Channel One, Mungos Hifi, Brother Culture, David Rodigan, they played at local venues Eden for Roots Underground, On The Rocks, the Winchester and Cellar Bar. Hanna Sistren kept residency at On the Rocks, Jen carried the sound on her travels playing at various venues in Vietnam and Bali . After a break , Jen has been playing out again the last few years in a mixed style of conscious reggae, deep roots, dub, ukg, dubstep, dnb and jungle with an intention of spreading a message of liberation from the system, positive and spiritual teachings through uplifting and deep medi bassline beats. Looking forward to spreading some conscious vibes this year.
